Cleaners

Based in Helensburgh
£9.50 per hour
Part-Time: 16-30 hours
Between 8am-4.30pm. Can start after 9 and finish before 3 if required.
OR
Full-Time: 8am-4.30pm (with 1 hour of breaks spread throughout the day)
Can modify hours to fit in with school drop off and pick up if required.

Sparkle Cleaning are looking for two self-motivated, reliable cleaners to join their busy team.

Job Purpose

• To undertake, as part of a team, duties in support of the cleaning of premises to ensure that they are kept in a clean and hygienic condition.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Cleaning
• Spot cleaning of spillages
• Washing of floors, walls, etc.
• Sweeping.
• Vacuum cleaning.
• Emptying of litter bins.
• Polishing and dusting of the designate areas (which may include toilets and shower area) the fixtures and fitting using, where appropriate, powered equipment.
• Wiping furniture, ledges, pipes, paintwork, doors and polishing door glass
• Cleaning toilets including sanitary fittings and surrounds
• Mopping and spray cleaning hard floor surfaces
• Wiping and polishing and straightening furniture
• All defects/hazards must be immediately reported to the Cleaning supervisor or Business Manager
• To ensure that Health and Safety regulations are adhered to at all times
• To ensure that safe working practices are applied at all times

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Be client facing and have good communication skills
• Have excellent organisation skills
• Be flexible, energetic and have a positive and proactive approach to their work
